101,6x76,2 cm ~ Pintura, Oleo
After being submerged in a lack of inspiration and trapped by physical pain that seemed to stifle all creative impulse, an inexplicable urgency suddenly drove me to the studio. Like a spring that could no longer remain compressed, my aching hands reached for a canvas, driven by the visceral need to release what I carried inside.
The process was raw; every brushstroke hurt. As someone once said, "The heart must burn for the hand to paint." In that moment, the fire within consumed everything else.
What emerged from the canvas reflected that struggle: light and shadow vibrating with the weight of emotion, colors whispering the journey from anguish to liberation. The image reveals a being without eyes, without a soul, because pain takes up everything. But each brushstroke became a farewell to suffering and a welcome to hope.
Like all others, this work stands as a witness to the moment I was living—proof that art holds the power to transform sorrow into something tangible, something not only seen but deeply felt.
