76.2x61 cm ~ Painting, Acrylic, Oil
That day, anger directed at myself consumed discontent that demanded change. I knew I had to find a way out, a rebirth that was not merely mental but visceral and tangible. In that inner storm, the image of an eagle and its transformation process came to mind, a painful journey yet essential for its survival and evolution.
When I got home, the impulse led me to the first canvas. There was no plan or prior sketch; the urgent need to release weighed heavily on me. The brushstrokes emerged without a clear direction, but with a profound intention. And then, the painting began to speak to me.
Shapes began to take form, as if the canvas had a voice. What emerged was not just an image, but a manifestation of the internal process I was going through —a fusion of human and animal, the essence of instinct and reason united in a single being. The bold strokes, rich in texture and movement, reflected the inner struggle, the shedding of the old, and the acceptance of the new.
The atmosphere was created with earthy tones and deep shadows, adding to the feeling of transition, a farewell to what I had been and a welcome to what was being born. The transformation was visible on the canvas and within me; with each stroke, I let go of burdens and embraced change.
This artwork is the pure representation of that moment of rebirth. It is a metamorphosis-made image, evidence that every process of renewal carries within it the courage to confront one's nature and the determination to evolve.
